Apple Ipod Touch Price in India, Ebay in Indian Rupees (8GB, 16GB, 32GB, 64GB) (USD also) (3G, 4G)


Apple ipod touch devices must have been received well abroad (outside India) but in India it is not yet launched. Customers have to buy them online from merchants outside the country which attracts customs duty taxes, shipping charges etc. Below are prices of Apple ipod touch 3G or 4G for 8GB, 16GB, 32GB, 64GB in Indian rupees.

That's amazing. Other ipod like devices from other brands do not have this much storage spaces. And that is what is differentiating Apple ipod touch from other mp3/mp5 players.

The third generation ipod touches also feature:
1. 3.5-inch (diagonal) widescreen Multi-Touch display
2. up to 30 hours of music playback or six hours of video playback on a single charge

Given the varying nature of prices and expensive prices, Apple iPad is not worth the money for the Indian users. It also seems that Apple is not interested in Indian market and that could be why they are not launching early in India. So you cannot buy them in Bangalore, Mumbai or other Indian cities directly. It is also speculated that iPad may not find much of a market in India to make profit for Apple's expensive business.

For those looking for iPad, there are better alternatives such as PC tablets or e-readers, netbooks etc. which are much cheaper and available for buying directly in Indian stores without worrying about arrrival shipped products to your doorstep.

SDHC Memory Card Cards (4GB, 8GB, 16GB, 32GB, 64GB, 2TB) (Secure Digital High Capacity Cards)


SDHC memory cards (Secure Digital High Capacity) are now available much cheaper prices in Indian digital electronic stores. Most SDHC cards range in capacity from 4GB to 32GB compared to SD cards which range from 1GB to 8GB in the current market. The SDHC memory card prices range from rupees 400 to 5000 in India.

SDHC memory card stands for Secure Digital High Capacity memory cards. It is a higher capacity version of SD (Secure Digital) memory card. The main difference for a user is the compatibility of SDHC card and SD card for a given device. One should first find out correctly what card their device’s memory expansion slot is compatible with and then only decide to buy one. SDHC is of course based on Flash memory and it lasts about 3-10 years depending on usage.

There are a lot of SDHC memory cards available in the market. The demand has shifted from SD (low capacity) type to SDHC cards in the last year due to high end mobile phones, mp3 players, digital video players, digital still/video cameras entering the market with the ability to handle huge storage requirements as well as work with backup power for days on end.

SDHC memory card prices now range from Rs. 400 for 4GB to Rs. 5000 for 32GB. Their capacities range from 4GB to 32GB but there are plans by Sandisk and others to produce 64GB type. As that is beyond the scope of this card, it would cost unreasonably high but still it may help for some devices. Theoretical memory capacity for SDHC is said to be 2TB but we don’t know if that will ever be reached without new innovative cards.

Usb Memory Stick Price in India (1GB 2GB 4GB 8GB 16GB 32GB 64GB 128GB 256GB) (Transcend HP Kingston Moserbear Toshiba Sandisk Imation)


A wide variety of USB memory sticks (pen drives) are available in Indian stores according to brand (Transcend HP Kingston Moserbear Toshiba Sandisk Imation) and capacity (1GB 2GB 4GB 8GB 16GB 32GB 64GB 128GB 256GB). Their prices, which depend on capacity/brand, are reducing day by day and range from 150 rupees to 7000 rupees for the most used drives.

USB memory sticks are widely used for their small size for relatively huge non-volatile storage capacities, high portability (you can hide it even in your mouth), compatibility with any computer that has atleast one Usb port, sleek and cute designs and some are sexy transparent. These are very advantageous compared to CD, DVD, older floppy or other non-volatile storage mediums. And they are also more reliable than CDs/DVDs as the latter can get damaged irreparably with scratches and the USB memory sticks (also known as pen drives) are nowadays coming as waterproof and shock resistant.

There are a wide variety of USB pen drives available in the Indian market sold by manufacturers such as Transcend, HP, Kingston, Moserbear, Toshiba, Sandisk, Imation, Corsair, OCZ, LUPO, etc. and also range widely in their capacities such as 1GB, 2GB, 4GB, 8GB, 16GB, 32GB, 64GB, 128GB and 256GB. You can almost replace your hard disk with these but the cost dramatically rises for higher capacities. If you go higher capacities at the most 32GB is reasonable and 16GB is most economical for portable storage purposes. For higher needs portable hard disk drives are already available for lesser costs.
