My Writing Journey - Crossing a Triond Milestone

Today I feel I should have taken Triond seriously from the beginning. While there was lot of potential in those days, there was nothing I knew about making money off this site.

It has been a year since I took this publishing site (Triond) seriously and learned a lot of things about online writing that I have just yesterday crossed a significant milestone (Happiness in Crossing a Triond Milestone) in my writing. It gave me so much of happiness to cross such a milestone.


I used to have very low targets to earn from my online writing. And Bukisa helped me achieve that pretty fast. But then I realized that it is realistically possible to make living and a decent one from these sites. So I had raised my targets to earn $15 per day.

I started writing seriously since six months with a serious plan in mind. I kept and log and noted accomplishments regularly. Initially it took considerable effort and also hardship to make any progress. But once I told to myself that I need to find solution to every obstacle on my own, I started making good progress.

My earnings at Triond started rising from $0.07 per day to $0.2 to $0.8. After few updates, that rose to $1.2. I had written more and they ramped up to $1.8 but not moving any further. I had noticed that Triond had been continuously reducing the earnings even when there is no noticeable recessionary effects.

I compensated this and worked hard and brought down my expectations. That is when the results broke through the rooftop of my expectations yesterday. Single day earnings at Triond jumped to $5.27! That was a very great feeling really.

I just crossed a significant milestone in my writing journey at Triond and I look forward to more of such milestones ahead. If you want to start your writing journey at Triond then join.

For Money, Magazines, Websites or Publication

You write articles online to earn money, for magazines or for publication. Writing articles online in many cases eventually boils down for money. Some do write articles for their websites where they may showcase their work (art, products, services, other books, etc.) or to promote their online business.

Writing Articles for Magazines

Some write articles online for magazines. Time spent by them for writing is more than an average online writer or blogger. As the quality standard of a magazine is already set between narrow bounds, there are little flexibilities involved for the magazine writer.

Writing Articles for Publication

Some write articles online for publication purposes. They know that they are writers and perhaps they have been writing online for several years or offline in small time magazines or local newspapers. Their goal is to get publication and recognized in a wider circle of audiences. Either a popular website that caters to their topic of interest or a print publication of their book by a reputed publisher will fulfill their goal.

Some even go to the extent of risking publishing on their own. Today there are online book selling sites like Amazon and others along with general selling site ebay which make the process much easier. Although they sell books their goal of reaching wider audience through reputed publications needs them to work more than other writers.

Writing Articles Online for Money

We all write articles online for money. Even the above cases ultimately boil down for the cause of money. Who does not want to be get paid for their creativity?

While different methods exist through which money can be earned online writing articles, few standout for most online writers. Using Google Adsense ads, similar such ads from Yahoo!, Amazon Book promotions, Affiliate promotions, Online publishing platforms like Triond, Bukisa, Helium, Assocaited Content, etc. are most renowned methods. It is not easy to startup with a new method and settle down with that in the long run.

Writing Articles for Websites

Some do write articles heavily for their websites or blogs. Problogger is one such site where the blogger used to write prolifically as much as two or three posts a day regularly. There are many reputed sites on the net where we can find websites with rich content. Often these are catered to specific topics. Few websites like Wikipedia are exceptions for this because they are built not by one but many writers and cater to wide variety of topics.

Some write articles for their websites for promoting their products or services which is an indirect way of doing their business via the internet.

She too writes articles!

Internet is mostly used from the beginning to search for information. It is still shaped by that. Hence there are always people to write articles online for money, magazines, websites or publications.
