When you come to reach this fall and you look straight at it, like in the picture, looking at the falling water losing itself in the vapours and mist and nothingness, the feeling is overwhelmming... tears run down your eyes. It's very touching. I guess because it looks very sad, like the abyss of death... but it's not an image you expect to see in real life, but only in your imagination or in dreams. An here is for real, such and dreamlike scape in front of you.
Also I thought it might make us cry because of the water element... it's our innermost nature, the element of life, and actually it's what psychology refers to, in our unconscious, as the archetype of the Mother.
